In our report on the August 13 meeting of the Timberline Fire Protection District Board meeting, we said “Ondr also recognized Firefighter Johnny May, presenting him with his “Black Hat” …. Fire Chief Schimanskey gifted him a practice stethoscope and p-cuff (preformed cuff for taking blood pressure) that once belonged to the late Firefighter Tony Snow, to whom Station 8 is dedicated.”
In fact, the stethescope was not a practice one, but a real one, and it and the BP cuff were presented by John Arendt, not Schimanskey. And the late firefighter in whose honor these were given was Tony Stone, not Snow.
