The Mountain-Ear highlights local artists with breathtaking Studio Tour

Posted

The Mountain-Ear newspaper is sponsoring its First Annual Peak to Peak Studio Tour, highlighting the area’s fine professional artists and crafters. September 22, 23, and 24, residents and visitors can explore the world and work of more than 100 artists along the 17-stop tour that ranges from Allenspark in the north to Central City and Black Hawk in the south.

The Peak to Peak region is famous for its breathtaking sights, unique mountain towns, and abundant outdoor adventures. It’s also home to many artists, art studios, and galleries that are inspired by the beauty that surrounds them. The tour is designed to coincide with the peak of aspen color and the celebration of the onset of fall in this magnificent area.

A digital guide with maps of the tour is available on The Mountain-Ear website at https://www.themtnear.com/pageview/viewer/peaktopeakstudiotour2023, while a printed version will be distributed throughout the region. The event is free for both visitors to the artists’ studios and participating artists and galleries.

The Studio Tour is a way to recognize the many artists across the region and share their talent with locals and tourists alike. Thank you for supporting the arts in the mountains, and welcome to The Mountain-Ear’s Peak to Peak Studio Tour!
