Recipe of the Week: Cherry Dump Cake

If you love cherry-flavored cake, you’re in for a real treat with this recipe. It’s easy and fun to make. It also makes a nice little snack with morning tea or coffee, if you dare!

Ingredients:

2 1/2 pound bag of frozen cherries

1 package yellow cake mix

1 (8oz) stick of butter, cut into 12 slices

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Empty cherries into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the top.

Place butter slices on top of the cake mix.

Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.

Let it cool a bit and enjoy!
