Gregory Neil Post went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2024. He was born on November 2, 1956, in Storm Lake, Iowa, to Richard Neil Post and Beverly Joan Findley Post.

Greg was the second born of their four sons. As young boys, they grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon, and Storm Lake, Iowa. Living near and fishing in Storm Lake. The family would also vacation in the mountains of Colorado, especially the Poudre Canyon, which prompted his love of Colorado and fishing in the Poudre River.

Greg loved fishing and lived in Nederland, Colorado, for over 30 years. He worked at Lone Star Steel in Fort Collins, then made roofing his trade when he moved to Nederland. During his life he also enjoyed bowling, playing the guitar, singing, and crafting stained glass. Greg was affectionately known as “Toastie” to many of his friends.

He was welcomed into his Heavenly home by his father, mother, and brother (Steven Post). He is survived by his two sons, his three grandchildren, his brothers David Post and Jeffrey Post, as well as several nieces and nephews.
