The District Attorney’s Office will determine final charges to be filed.

Mr. Peavey had last been heard from on the night of August 19 and was reported missing the evening of Wednesday, August 21. The time of death is consistent with the timeframe that Mr. Peavey was last heard from, and the cause of death is consistent with a gunshot wound.

No additional information regarding the investigation will be provided at this time.

Individuals facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

The investigation into Mr. Peavey’s death continues, including the investigation into his Doberman puppies that are still unaccounted for.
